wonders appear
before my eyes
the grand scheme of
the aethers
grows from a tiny
star to the Milky Way
each star with its
own story, destiny
a limitless vision
of hope for humankind
to reach out for our
likeness, our equals
or perhaps lesser-wise
cultures
all of whom have
bright lights to teach us
we do not know their
names today
we may never come to
speak with them
yet our chance to
grow comes on our own world
where we must extend
a hand of understanding
give all our
blessings to names we know
if we can see our
own peace and harmony
may we be worthy of
knowing the galaxy?
